Yeah, ditching Dust-up because without Scroll Dynasty, there is no foundation for it anymore.

I've been working on a screenplay. Movie to be released earliest a few years from now, so you won't see it. However, I've got to write a few promotional pieces for it as well, so... yeah... but then I have government exams next year. FUX.

I was walking around my house, like what, five minutes ago? Maybe less. I walk around my living room all the time, circling my table in a random circuit in order to get my blood flowing and my brain shifting. I was walking around the steps going down into my basement, but I wasn't expecting to have anything out of the ordinary strike me. When it did, it wasn't an idea for Scroll Dynasty, well... fine, it was. But not in the way I expected.
When I first conceived Scroll Dynasty: Dust-up, it was designed as a small promotional lead-in to the main Scroll Dynasty comic. A lot has changed in a couple of months. The comic might never fly at all; it's probably going to be a novella or something. Anyway. Dust-up has evolved as well. At first I was projecting only 3-5 segments and one prologue. The arc of Ennic and Kanami, of the entire GunZ universe I'm cobbling here, is swelling. A few reasons:

1. I get ideas. (hey, it happens)
2. A guy I know is creating a GunZ-related game. I'm trying to create a background 'line for that too.
3. When I'm faced with something undesirable like homework, my mind usually spams ideas in daydream style.
4. I'm also supposed to put together an hour-long screenplay for Zephyre that will merge Pistol Ninja with my work. ONE %#&$ING HOUR
5. Dust-up is no longer an introduction for me. It's a WHOLE FUCKING ADVENTURE
6. Senvae said to "give it the space it needs". HELL YEAH
7. I'm trying to find my writing style, my niche, where I want to go. Needless to say it's not going to be ezpz.
8. I just put in two more main characters and further developing everyone, especially as redoing Nakara and Shensuki.

There4, watching porn notwithstanding, Scroll Dynasty: Dust-up will be released in novella form. I'm rewriting what little I've released(I've looked them over, and I hate them). However I'm not starting immediately. I'm going to brick up Zeph's screenplay first, as it is more pressing for many reasons. (no, I'm not going to write you another list) Dust-up will be pieced into one big package here and there, and honestly a novella of that size will take years according to my schedule(pushing back the original Scroll Dynasty arc to indefinite hold, yeah). I've got major exams next year(sheesh, I've got major exams every year, screw Singapore) so I hope that you and my guilty consience will understand if I put Dust-up off.

In a nutshell: You're not going to see Dust-up for a fucking long time. You'll probably forget it. And when you do see it, I promise it'll be something I can be proud of.

Nakara Agent will make appearances in Dust-up, Scroll Dynasty, and my upcoming screenplay.
Meiko Ingato will also show up in the screenplay.
Small promotional shorts will be written for the screenplay.
The Pistol Ninja movie trilogy and accompanying adaptation by guobin2 are canon in my world now.
I promise a detailed explanation of Slash Shot, as well as many other moves.
I've got a totally evil plot in the wings.
The Phantom Breed are everywhere! Srsly.
